Well, by having people post theories or knowledge here, it is shared with everyone.
A "resetting" program? I dont know WTF that is, but if it is in fact real, it sounds unecessary. Worst-case scenario you could have someone reflash your computer. Kind of like reinstalling Windows, only with a better chance of fixing something.
Did they scan for codes? Did they even reset the computer? Just disconnect the battery overnight(or even for an hour) and reconnect. It clears the learned memory and you start fresh.
