I work at a chevy dealer and replaceing the motor urself it isn't that hard if u don't want to cut ur doors u can just cut the rivets out that hold the regultor in place(there is only 4) and remove the motor and regulator as one. U can get new rivets and the gun to install them at any hardware store or u can buy some nuts and bolts to replace them with, just get locking nuts so they don't come apart. It's alot better and u don't have to worry about fucking up ur door.
Here is gm's procdure for removing this.
1.Lower the window to the three quarters down position.
2.Remove the door trim panel.
3.Remove the water deflector in order to access the window regulator.
4.Remove the window to regulator nuts.
5.Push the window to the closed position and tape in place.
6.Disconne the regulator electrical connector.
7.Remove the power window regulator bolts.
8.Drill out the power window regulator rivets.
9.Remove the power window regulator from the door.
If u email me i can try and get u some pics of where everything is at or if u have any other question's feel free to ask.
