If the fuel filter has not been changed in a very long time (or never) the pressure at the injectors may not offset the higher vapor pressure caused by the engine heat and higher outside temps.

This is the kind of job to have a pro do. It shouldn't be very expensive. Its dangerous if you aren't very careful - fuel will spray out under pressure as the filter connections are loosened.
