Well, it seems that you're NOT QUITE AWARE of the fact that Ford made a limited number of a 2003 100th Centennial Anniversary edition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Ford Motor Co's existence, not the Mustang.........maybe that's because you favor vehicles not made in this country????

If you care to look into this further, you'll find that they made 1,323 units of this model, and all of them are black with "100th Centennial" badging. The color black was chosen because Henry Ford, whenever asked about colors of cars would say [...you can paint them any color you want as long they are black.....]. These Mustangs all have a 2-tone saddle/tan interior, gray anthracite bullit-style wheels and commemorative badging in the places you would usually find a GT badge on the car.

And I guess you're right on one thing-a 2003 would be the 39th anniversary edition. Gosh, if you could find one with 39th anniversary badging I'd hold on to it--it may one day become a collector's edition. Oh, and as far as the 1906-1908 model years of the Mustang--the same goes for that. Gee, if you already have one, maybe you'd consider selling it to me? I'm sure it's priceless....

Have a wonderfully educated day........
