1996 Chevy Cavalier, 2.2 4 cylinder, automatic transmission, mileage 175,000
Started car, ran 30 seconds, all indicator lights on dash began flashing. Car remained running but day running lights and headlights no longer worked. Turned engine off. Now when start engine it runs two to three seconds and shuts off. The only thing that works is the starter motor, radio, blower motor, wipers, turn signals, four ways, and can hear fuel pump running. Checked all fuses both under hood and in driver compartment. Checked all ground wires under hood, cleaned and refastened. Pulled plugs from computer and reinstalled. No power to diagnostic plug under dash. Checked and ignition recall was done. I'm stumped. Anyone have ideas of what this could be?
