Could any of the above articles that you posted be affected by the outside temp being hot...like 90 degrees and sunny? Thats the ONLY time that it does it..when it's hot out.. I called lincoln dealer and talked to a mek a nik and he said that vapor lock was known to happen with the fuel rails located in such a confined space... but of course was real vague so I would go there to "pay his wages", in other words get ass raped by ford!! lol
I'll check into some of those articles and see if one might be the culprit... In the past I have had two cars that have had vapor lock and the symptoms are almost identicle...only difference is that the continental is F inj. whereas mine was carb type probs/vapor lock. Thanks for the help and any more you might have.
