Which intake manifold to install?

ok... UGH!.. This is a weird question. ok..about a few months back I had swapped my engine from a D15B7 to a D16Y7.... My friend that did the swap decided to use nearly all of my old components like my starter, old intake manifold, old exhaust manifold, old Power steering pump, old compressor, but new engine. Now, I have ALL of these newer parts but one thing I REALLY wanna install is the newer intake manifold. This engine came out of a OBDII 97 DX. I have a 92 OBD1 LX. I was wondering if I would benefit at all installing the newer intake manifold? Its the weird one with the intake hole coming straight up. Does that have more or less sensors and connector thingies on it or will it bolt right on? For a fact, I see that my fuel rail will not fit this newer manifold so im guessing I have to use the newer rail also. My gas milage is becoming MORE and MORE horrible! I dont understand! Now im getting about 200 miles to the tank... this is killing me!. Think this manifold will help any, since it belongs to this engine in the first place....

Thanks all!

I of course have allll the tubing and fuel-rail and EVERYTHING that goes with it. I took it apart to really really clean the inside of this thing. All it has now is dust since its been sitting in my garage a few months now.
