Yes, I have installed a remote start with keyless entry on my 98 LTZ. If you install it yourself follow all of the instructions, especially for the VATS (the pass key), very closely. When installed correctly, it does not eliminate the need for your VATS key on a daily basis, so don't just get rid of them. Your car will start as before. It took me about 8 hours to install it. I have the Prestige by Audiovox. Works up to 1200 fiit away. DEI is also a good brand to check out. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy the bulldog or other brands at a store for $49 plus and expect an installation place to do it for you. They probably will not. Spend the extra money on a quality system.
