Its amazing how much you can change power just by changing the boost. I laugh when people swap a US 4g63 for a "JDM" or evo 3 or whatever 4g63. Just add a few psi and you get the same power And it would have to be a EVO3 or earlier if you expect to just drop it in. After that they sit backwards and spin the wrong way.

Valve trains are the same, but the cams can differ slightly through the years. Clutch should be a new aftermarket unit if you are in there anyway. Stock us motors take more power than most people know how/can afford to make.
