hi i recently bought this amp

http://www.cardomain.com/item/JVCCSWG1200. i think i have everything hooked upo right but when i tune the amp till where it hits it will cut out then come back on quickly and then continue this process. i know the amp isnt sutting out because the light stays on and the protect light never goes on. can someone please advise me what could be the problem. i wired from pos on the sub output to pos. on the amp and neg on the sub output to neg on the amp
