The easiest way to explain what I meant.... I normally use Tamiya sprays or automotive touch up paints, both of which go on very smooth and I would normally just use a liquid polish and be done with it. The new testors paint went on thick and with orange peel, which required wet sanding then tamiya compound, then polish and lastly wax. The testors clear lacquer dries really hard so if you wet sand it's hard to polish out all the fine scratches. To be fair to Testors, I didn't heat the can before spraying and should have known better. Next time I use it I'll take a little more precaution. I think with practice and learning it's characteristics it will be a very good paint.
