Yeah, I understand that. The track where we run doesn't exactly hook up the best, and I assume that (by looking at your page and the tracks you listed) those do hook better. I do know our car is always a tenth faster everywhere (60' and 330') when we do take it to an 1/8th mile. It's got a bigger engine now then it did the last time we had it to an 1/8th (355 then, 406 now). Anyways, the 1.46 60' and 4.25 330 time woudl be like a 1.36 and 4.15 at the 1/8th mile track we go to (we usually go to Clay City, KY, but we have been to Bristol once). And the fastest 1/8th time we have was the 6.71 @ 101 mph (with the 355 engine). The 330 time for that pass was 4.30 (which would have been a 4.40 at our track, provided it was hooking like it usually does)
Saturday night, our track seemed to be off a tenth and a half, atleast judghing by some of our buddy's cars. We really don't know what our car should do right now becuase we have another new engine (we've had terrible luck this entire summer, this makes the 4th engine, the first 2 lost oil pressure, and hte last one had a cracked block in the lifter valley of all places). Our best time Saturday night was 4.434. We ran a total of 6 times, but the last two passes teh car spun terribly bad off the line, and spun even worse once it shifted into to high gear (he had to let completely off on the 5th run to avoid hitting the guard rail) And they haven't been giving us 60' times in over a month, been having troulbe out of the lights, and I think somebody actually hit them this weekend.
1st run: 4.439
2nd run: 4.447
3rd run: 4.449
4th run: dialed 4.43, run 4.434
5th run: dialed 4.42, run 4.685 (other car red lighted)
6th run: dialed 4.42, run 4.580 (needless to say we lost, lol)
One of our friends usually runs what we used to run (low 4.30s, and high 4.20s) and I think his best time was 4.49. So we figure the track was off atleast a tenth, maybe even a tenth and a half.
