Re: Evaporative Emission Control Canister

Try Charcoal Canister or Vapor Canister. It's considered an emission system part, and not a filter.

AC/Delco(OEM) Part #215-35 Fits any year, any engine.

Facts:

All 84-88 Fieros with 4 cylinder engines used a Pontiac "Iron Duke" 2.5L L4 with Throttle Body Electronic Fuel Injection (TBI)

All 85-88 Fieros with 6 Cylinder engines used a Chevrolet 2.8L 60 degree V6 with Multi Port Electronic Fuel Injection (MPI) The V6 was not available in 1984.

The only other GM car that didn't have a front mounted engine was the Corvair. (62-69) These cars did NOT have fuel injection, They used a turbocharged 1x2bbl, 2x1bbl, or 4x1bbl carb setup. This might the car people are thinking of when they tell you your car has a carburetor.

Unless someone changed or modified the engine in your car, it HAS to be fuel injected.

Wanted to buy:
86-88 Fiero GT, 5 speed, fixer-upper. Blown motor, no motor? No problem! Rusty unibodies need not apply.
74-79 Ramcharger or 100, slant or no motor - not interested in v8 - Overdrive 4 is a big plus, NO hopeless rust buckets!!!
3Rd gen F body floor pans/camaro door skin (L)

Why is it I see so many "Proud to be an American" bumper stickers on the backs of cars made in Japan or Korea??????
