the wire i fixed on the starter now when the car is running the wire glows red hot and starts to smoke and burn. i dont know exactly what wire it is. all i know is when i hooked it back up, the fuel pump primed (which is the problem i had before, it wouldnt) and the engine started fine. but now it glows red hot and if i keep it that way it will just melt and break again. any suguestions on where and what the wire is? it connects on the right side (as your looking at the engine from the front) and the block it connects to is round and has a bunch of wires connected to it. i keep saying starter but it might be a relay or something like that. let me know. thanks.
