Our original intentions were for the 4.2 because of production numbers. But the 5.3 responds extremely well also, it just needs some more r/d time as some of the piping is different. I will keep you in mind.

As for real numbers on the 5.3 , the fullsize trucks are putting down 420hp and up to the wheels and almost 500 trq.

On the low boost settings you will not need to add anything.
In high boost you will need to add alky injection for the high numbers of 490 to 510 hp just to be safe.

By the way no car even off the showroom floor is 100%. I've seen problems as you drive off the lot. But reliability shouldn't be an issue if you do your regular maintanance.
