yeah they are totally necessary, especially w/ that convertible. they cost about 100 dollars...you can get the bolt on kind or the weld on kind, ide suggest getting them welded on. you could prob take it up to a local welding place or an exhaust shop or somehting and im sure they could weld them on for a good deal.
