What i have been reading states that the balance shaft belts are not usually changed out when the timing belt is replaced. Thusly it wears as time goes on, with the owner under the assumption that the timing belt is fine for another 50k miles. Not the case because if it breaks it can and will snap your timing belt causing you to rebuild the head and possibly the engine. I have a 6bolt on a stand in the garage and was wondering if it would be an issue with leaving the belt off. thanks for the replies
