Cool

Well I ended up just replacing the air shocks with Monroe gas charge performance struts from autozone for $50/pair. Took all of 25 minutes to change out both sides. Didn't even have to remove the tire or anything. Just a socket wrench with a loooong extension (18mm I believe). Undid the top bolt, pulled it, and then crawled under and did the bottom one. supported van with jack (ever so slightly, just in case) and pulled the shock. Put the new one in (top bolt first), jacked the van up a bit and put the bottom bolt in and tightened. Released jack and voila!! a whole new riding van!! repeat for other side.
I just wiretied the air fittings to the bottom of the van in case I ever wanna go that route and have the $$ to replace the compressor. I would like it to work for the compressor in the back of the van though, so if anyone knows of a way to short it or test it, It wold be much appreciated.....
