air compressor
Same part / different problem. The compressor on my 98 Transport-Montana works fine except it leaks air when running. Consequently the shocks discharge and then recharge in a continuous cycle even when the van is parked. My mechanic has advised that the compressor needs to be replaced. GM part #22137534. After market replacement is available but there are multiple specs., single gauge 5 PSI / dual gauge 5 PSI / single gauge 10 PSI and dual gauge 10 PSI. No one seems to know which is the right one. The price on the aftermarket is roughly a third of the OEM. Can anyone shed some light on this??
