I'm not gonna sit here and argue imports vs domestics all day, I actually like some of both but when it comes to imports they don't come stock with as much power as some american cars. Show me a stock import that can beat a stock 2000 camaro SS, zo6 or viper, there are none. And don't say that if you put $3,000 into the import it would win because if you put the same $3,000 into one of the above mentioned american cars they would still own the little import. And I think reliability is about equal. We owned a 86 camry, bought it new, and it completely died after only like 12,000 miles and needed extensive engine work. My friends 200sx also never ran even after spending well over 1,000 to fix it. Also our 94 accord has had many more problems than out 1990 dodge, including over the years every door handle breaking off multiple times and large parts of the interior breaking/cracking etc.
