Re: Need Help Plz!
Normally painting acrylic over enamel is not a problem. Just allow the enamel sufficient time to dry (24 hours or so).
However, since you did have problems, and want to strip it, the easiest way is to use Castrol Super Clean. It will take care of enamels and acrylics just like that. Find it at wal-mart or any autoshop. It's a degreaser/cleaner. Comes in a purple spray-bottle. Just soak everything that needs to be stripped in it overnight (it shouldn't damage plastic, but maybe do a test piece). It's quite bio-safe, so you can rinse the parts off in the sink. Save the used CSC for later, as it tends to work for a long time. Finally, WEAR GLOVES. This stuff is fairly nasty.
Double check that it was an enamel and an acrylic, and not a lacquer such as Tamiya's spray cans. CSC doesn't really touch Tamiya's TS line.
Finally, this is somewhat covered in the FAQ. See my signature.
And finally again, WELCOME TO AF!!! Happy building
