As the other postings say, it depends on the application.
Off road terrain is extremely varied, and different vehicles perform better at different things.
This is why so many off road vehicles are modified to suit the conditions they will see.
The best off road vehicle is a 4 wheel drive that has been modified to suit the particular conditions it will face.
The brand name (Toyota, Jeep etc) is not as important as the modifications made.
