Thanks for your reply. So when it's up to temp it should no longer run rich? But if it still does is it more likey to be a problem with the carb?

By up to temp on my car i mean just below half way on the temp dail. Is this where it should be on my Pulsar? Anyone else out there with the same engine - when driving on the motorway with it being cold outside (say below 10 degree's C) and doing 100km/h the whole time where does your temp sit?
