Check engine light
I was just wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem I have. Within just under a year that I've had my car, my CEL has come on 3 times because of a loose gas cap.
After the first 2 times, I convinced the dealership to give me a new cap (under warranty) and problem solved....until the other day when the light came on again out of nowhere. I didn't notice a change in performance so I figured it was the same problem-I checked the gas cap, and sure enough, it was loose.
I reset the computer last night, and no CEL so far. Anyone else have problems with a loose gas cap in their 5th gen? Is there anything I can do to rid this problem?
