Emergency brake light and ABS light ON all the time.

Emergency brake light and ABS light are ON all the time on 1994 Pontiac Grand AM 2.3L Quad 4. Emergency brake is dis-engaged properly. Vehicle moves freely and so the brakes are not dragging.

Yesterday, we were pulling into a gas station entrance and both sides of the entrance has some large bushes which is hard to see incoming or outgoing vehicle. As we were pulling into the gas station entrance, there was this vehicle pulling out and speeding up and then stopped before merging in the highway but the rear of their vehicle was blocking my way and I have to slam by brake and have to turn the vehicle to the right a little bit to avoid collision and I can hear the ABS engaged.

We parked and stopped the vehicle. After we started the vehicle later on, the Emergency brake light and ABS light are ON all the time. Turned off the engine and started it again but those two lights are still ON.

We drove the vehicle and still have a brake. After we arrived home, I turned off the vehicle and then disconnected the battery as well as the 4 ABS sensors and one in the master cylinder. Waited for 30 minutes and reconnected them back but still the Emergency brake light and ABS light are ON all the time while the engine is running.

This morning, I started the vehicle and the Emergency brake light and ABS light turned OFF. I will test the vehicle today and see if the those lights would come back ON again.

My plan is to clean the ABS wheel sensors and probably bleed the brake fluids again and hopefully it will get rid of any debris that might be circulating in the ABS component.

Any other suggestions with regards to diagnosing this ABS problem if the lights come back ON again? I know I can get a free diagnostics at Autozone to get the error code.

Thanks
