If you're willing to spend the money, you can probably get more gains than you would out of FI. Although in that case, your car would be less "streetable" as your whole powerband would be moved all the way up to vtec range. And assuming you go up to 12.0:1 or higher on c/r - you may not be able to run pump gas.
Anyway, for a "street" setup - this is what i would do
Stage 2 Cams (Skunk2) --- Or JUN Cams if you have the balls/money ("Stage 3")
Titanium Valves, Springs, Retainers (Again Skunk2)
Darton Sleeves
11.5:1 Pistons (Dunno on this one..JE?)
STR or Skunk2 Intake Manifold
70mm Throttle Body
SMSP Header
Test Pipe
2.25 Catback
Piggypack ECU
Hours of Dyno Tuning
