Cooling and suspension are serious issues.... my opinion has always been go 6 cylinders on the smaller cars... you can pull off 500 hp from a 3.8L fairly easy and probably stay under budget.

74-79 Ramcharger or 100, slant or no motor - not interested in v8 - Overdrive 4 is a big plus, NO hopeless rust buckets!!!
