Well, if you have ever seen under the hood of one of these slamed vehicles, and they have in fact removed the wheel wells, you will see exactly what the engine bay is missing...just the wheel wells, and they move anything that may have been bolted to the wheel wells to the firewall, or engine bay sides. A way to cover this up is to fabricate new larger fenderwells that basically come all the way up to the hood opening. If you search on google, you should be able to see what I am talking about, some of them cover the engine aswell, and are painted with murals.
