A Rear engined Rear wheel drive car the engine sits behind the axle, and powers the rear wheels. An All Wheel drive car comes with 3 differentials, for splitting power between all 4 wheels. For example the Skyline can send most of the power to the rear wheels and act like a FR, or it can send the power to the front wheels to act like a FF, but most the time it spilts the power to where its needed. a 4 wheel drive car locks all the wheels together and they all turn at the same speed, useful for towing things, but not that great for racing.
