You might want to retake some of those physics classes.

Things will fall at the same rate only when the friction is 0. The viper and the cart are pushed down a hill (as stated by you) so even we consider that hill in a vacuum (which you did not specify) and aerodinamics do not come into play. Pushing an object down a hill implies that both car and wagon are rolling on their wheels. in that case their differences in internal mechanical friction (wheel bearings, differentials ETC) will cause them to accelerate at different rates.

So your question should have stated " If you would throw a viper and a lil red wagon off a hill (implying that they will not be rolling and rather falling) in a perfect vacuum who would win?"

So yes I would say we know a few things beyond cars.


And I would choose the 69 mach 1 based on looks since i don't know that much about their performance.
