It would be able to be put on, depending on the clutch. The early R32 RB26s used a push clutch like the others, but the late R32 RB26s and up use a pull type clutch. So you may have to change the type of clutch.
That just answers the question of it being possible. Now is it something you want to do, NO! The only transmission other then the RB26's that you would really want to consider is the RB25DET's, that's the trans required for the RWD swap when the RB26 is dropped into an S13/S14. The RB25DE trans isn't geared to use the power correctly, and the power of even a stock GTR and going to quickly wear it out. Not to mention they usually reinforce the casing of the turbo transmissions.
