well, i have an afc which is linked to the TPS signal, so mounting it whas easy for me because i just adjusted it to 0% at fully closed and 100% at wide open. If you havent taken your old one off yet then just mark its position on the throttle body and put the new one exactley where the old one was located. It is a bolt on job(only 2 screws). Im not sure how to test it using an ohm meter though, but i dont think you need to.
