Hello everyone,
I am stoked that I found this website, absolutely love the tutorial and the how-to pages. I have read most of the FAQs and the How-to tutorial and basically have a few questions regarding the kit I just bought. The other day I bought a Aoshima kit, Nismo R34, do you guys have any thoughts on this kit? I still have a chance to return it, the reason I didnt get a Tamiya kit is because the R34 looks really good with the nismo kit and the wheels are much better than the Tamiya. I did however purchased a tamiya ferrari 360 coupe along with the nismo.
Also, I went to pepboys today to get a 600, 800, and 1200 grit sanding paper as recommended by the tutorial to prime the shell. However, I couldnt find any plastic primer, so I purchased a regular metal/wood primer, do you think this will be thin enough not to cover the lines around the hood, windows etc around the shell? or should I return this primer and search for a plastic primer somewhere else?
Anxious to get this project started, so any answers are appreciated.
