i saw the 215/30-18 paradas in person, huge but very nice. that isn't my size though.

Don't judge a tire cause of how it looks. That's like saying 18" wheels look cool - even though you know it will kill your performance.

Paradas I heard through friends of mine suck in general. No grip and hydroplane like crazy.

But its your money and you can do what you want. If you want cool tires get the Scorcher then.
