I'm starting to play football and I have no clue what the quarterback is saying. In the huddle he'll say something like "40'blahblah-somethingsomething'fade-out" or something similar to that...I have no clue about plays and how they work and all the lingo to understand what a QB is saying. Can anyone help me out? I dont' know when he's gonna give it to a running back or throw it, or if he's gonna fake, or what. I'm completely out in the cold on this, really need to learn and couldn't find anything in a search. What's a fade-out? I can't even remember most of the stuff he said, usually a number in there, then he'd say something like "left-hinge". I know there's probably tons of football fans here that know this stuff

I'm a receiver by the way, I'm think I'm an "out" receiver but I don't even really know what that means either heh
