The solenoid that was replaced at your last service was a shift solenoid. The tech didn't losen and raise the tranny off the crossmember far enough. So when the tech was removeing the pan(forcefully) He/She broke a shift solenoid. (Very common) These (the plastic shift solenoid)get brittle after many heating/cooling cycles. Just a little too much force pulling the pan and...Well, there ya go. Broken solenoid.

With the bucking...I would say your ready for a "real" tune-up. Not just plugs. Hopefully that will end it.
the solenoid they broke they did replace hopefully it isn't that again. what all do mean for a real tune-up. i'm going to the garage on friday what do you recommend i ask for?
