I would never get rid of that bulge - I think it's one of the key elements in the styling of the car that makes it look so good. I love looking out the windshield and seeing the little hump. It just hints at the power that's lurking underneath.
Just about every place I've come across that sells cf hoods for the eclipse sells an oem style with the bump in place.
