You don't have the skill to get rid of the bubble fenders? What? Sure you do! In fact, this would be a great opportunity to try that sort of modification. On this car, it would be relatively simple. Sand off or cut off the bubble flares, use sheet styrene to fill the arches, and cut and sand them to shape, then use a small peice of styrene strip to make the small factory flare, and sand it smooth. It would be a lot easier to try it on a slab sided 510 than on a car with more curves. Plus, if you screwed up, you'd be out what, a body from an $8 kit? I say go for it! You gotta start body mods somewhere*, and this seems straightforward enough to be a great first attempt.

* Assuming you want to start body mods.
