The FIPK is a pretty easy install. You may want to shop around a bit. I'm very happy with my K&N, but Volant makes a kit that is really attractive. On my install the only bit of difficulty involved trimming the fan shroud a little bit to cure it from rubbing against the intake tube.

The programmer is even easier, although it is slow. I'd really recommend doing some research on this mod. I have yet to hear any positive feedback except from those that tow on a regular basis. If you're looking for some oomph, you may want to consider some other options. Personally, I went with a Westers PCM. It's awesome - I'm convinced it's the biggest performance leap I could've made short of a supercharger.
