Resurrected this old thread to let people know I've discovered a source of resin doors for the Fujimi 917K! The place to get 'em is
www.stradasports.com. They are made by Speedline Resin, who also do doors for Fujimi GT40 and Tamiya 956/962 - US$6 a set.
I have a set of each on order so will update when they arrive. Looks like the 917 doors already have the internal ribbing moulded in saving a lot time compared to building your own. Similarly the GT40 doors have at least part of the internals that Fujimi forgot.
The Strada Sports site also has some great pics of racing Porsches at the recent Rensport Reunion. Including a few opened up 917 doors to see how they should fit
