So I get a call the othe day at its an indian lady saying shes from some government section and that i am qualified to get a grant from 8G to 25G from the government for being a tax payer. Funny thing is she had my last name and address and number, but she asked me how to spell my first name and what my middle initial was. She asked a couple of questions and i just said whatever because i could hardly understand her because of her accent...then she asks for my checking account number and routing number so they know where to put the money..i could hardly understand her..but i told her to call me back..sure enough the next day at the same time another indian person calls me with a really thick accent and continues with the process..he said he needs the checkin acount number and routing number to withdraw a 240 processing fee..he asked to verify that my routing number was something but i couldnt really understand him and it sounded like the number was sorta close but some numbers were off and it ws like one number too short..and he asked for my bank location because he said his comp had this information and he was trying to figure out why he has the wrong info..anyways i guess it is a scam..but i would like to know where to go to verify this and who to contact to report it
