Boy that was an extremely thoughtful and informative reply there bud, I don't know how I could have lived without your vast source of knowledge and wisdom
Anyway, I figured out the problem on my own. The ballasts don't like the 14.5v DC coming out of the altenator, they prefer a steady 12v DC.
Solution: Put a big ass Resistor to drop the voltage to 12v DC everytime. I guess that's what I get for buying bargain bin HID systems
