brake grinding noise
I have a 99 Econoline and just did the brakes on it all the way around several weeks ago. I have new rotors new pads, new shoes new wheel cylinders, and new spring kits. The drums I had re-surfaced. Two weeks later I have a God awful grinding noise comming from the left front wheel as I brake. I take all the wheels off but don't see any signs of abnormal ware. Than, now, a couple more weeks go by and it's getting worse. By the sounds of it I shouldn't even drive it. This past week end I had it all apart again to do ball joints, and still no signs of abnormal ware. I did opt for the lifetime warranty metralic pads when I purchased the parts, might this be the problem? Will it go away? Do I need different pads?
