Re: I need help bad, electrical issues making my hair gray!
I havent check'd any connections on the firewall, i thought the wires just went through some bushing for weather proofing and protection from the metal. i'll check that out, i havent had it running long enough to run it low in fuel since this problem started, i did check pump fuses and swaped the fuel pump relay with one out of my buddy's car "same exact relay", and that didnt do anthing, and i can hear my fuel pump turning on with the ignition and stopping a few seconds later, "like its building up pressure and waiting for the engine to start." I also seem to get plenty of fuel @ the fuel rail pressure check-point. but i dont have a gauge to check actuall amount of pressure. I also checked all injectors, and found one reading only 6.5 ohms, so i replaced it. and that didnt change anything.any tips on what wires could be shorting out to or from the fuel pump? or what kind of voltage or resistance i should have? Thanks again for the great tips, and i'll get out and see what i can find.
peace,
