friend is looking at buying a mustang and making it into a street beast he would drive primarily on the weekends. straped for cash and it would be an on going project as he dumps more money into it... I suggested to him a 5.0 GT or cobra from prob early 90's or late 80's but im not that familiar with em. I am looking for a good idea for a build up for what you guys think would be the best bet to get a mustang into prob the 11's and still have traction... and last... ie not breakdown or have to do constant repairs. I only have one other car I would go with thats cheap and fast but I want to see whats needed.. parts and cost to do the stang first.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
