You can feel a kick when Vtec kicks in. The tachometer noticibly goes faster as well as the speed needle. Its not like a rocket, but yeah of course you can feel that you being pulled. That is on DOHC VTEC engines which are meant for performance.
Get into a civic SI, ITR, CTR, S2000. Youll feel it.
