I dont know a whole lot about cars, but i have had a good amount of experience with things going wrong with them
. My .02 would be to possible check on some of the common sensors like your O2 sensors, becuase these will limit fuel to air ratio causeing rough starts.
If you post back with more info on exactly what is happening when cranking, i might be able to give better advice, but for now thats the best i can think of.
