Metro went for a trip through a river....
Not really, but kind of. Last Friday we had a mini hurricane here in Ohio and it just so happened to hit right before work. I deliver pizzas so I had the misfortune of being forced to drive through some really deep puddles(probably a foot or so at most) 4 or 5 times. Soon after when I started my car it kind of sputtered and was extremely hard to get any power(feels like it's having a hard time getting gas) in 1st,2nd,and 3rd gears(manual) but 4th was usually fine. After the initial takeoff when I came to a stop think were alot better but the car has seemed to have lost a little power and gas mileage seems slightly less(maybe it's just the prices). This has continued up to this day and I still want to check a few more things but wondered if this has happened to anybody else. I already checked the intake, air filter and cylinders, all three are fine. I was told that it might be water in the distributor cap and/or a cracked one but have yet to check. It's a 1995 1.0 5spd. Thanks for any input.
