OK. This is my area of expertise. What is going on is the car is going into fail-safe mode. It thinks something is wrong AND that no one is trying to hotwire so it let's you start it. The most common problem is either the resistance value used for the remote starter isn't close enough and the alarm is finally saying no. Or, the VATS system itself is going bad (usually at the lock cyl.). My guess would be to say the first. See, for some reason if the installer can't be dead on matching the resistance value, the car will work for quite some time then eventually stop. This is normally the case when say your key is 1,500ohm but the installer could only get 1,499ohms. It should be close enough but isn't. Now, if they got 1,501ohms, it never fails to work for some reason.

So, my recomensation is to reread your ignition key and also the resistor used for the remote start and adjust it as needed.
