Absolutely nothing, seen the word "turbo lag" and I knew I had a problem with it and you sounded like you knew so much about the subject I figured I would ask you the question. As far as the turbo goes, I bought the turbo used and when the seal went in it about 2500 miles ago, I sent the turbo out to a shop and I got a call a couple of days later from the guy I sent it out to and he asked me what the turbo came off of and said that it had some mods on either the compressor or the exhaust wheel (dont remember which) and had some porting done (is it possible to port a turbo?) and he laughed when I told him what I had it on. That would probably explain why my car spools so slow, I dont have enough power currently for my turbo.
If it's taking you to 5400+ RPM's to reach spool with a T3/TO4E 50 trim something is wrong. What do your AFR's look like in the lower RPM range? How much timing are you running? What kind of a manifold? Checked for leaks around the manifold flange, wastegate flange, turbo flange, etc? How about boost leaks? Are you sure your wastegate is connected properly? That definitely sounds off, my girlfriend is running a B16 with 9:1 JE's and eagle rods with a .63 A/R SC61 and she is seeing 1 bar of boost by about 5500!
